Benefits
OAuth 2.0 is an open standard that enables secure access to applications, such as sending emails with Scan to Email. It authenticates a service mailbox with secure access tokens for Microsoft 365 SMTP.
Implementation requires configuring the device's web interface to use OAuth 2.0, selecting Microsoft 365 as the provider, and following on-screen prompts to log in and grant permissions. Access tokens are obtained using device code flow (DCF) or similar authorization methods.
